Designing for a multilingual theater festival in South Tel Aviv became an exploration of visual language and performance. The challenge was to create a graphic identity that could capture the wild, transformative spirit of cabaret and burlesque theater through typography alone.
My research into the history of these performative art forms inspired a design concept that literally transforms letters across Hebrew And English. By manipulating typography, I developed a visual system that mirrors the shape-shifting nature of cabaret performances - where identity, gender, and expectation are constantly in flux.
The design process pushed creative boundaries, using coded algorithms to generate typographic images that could flexibly represent the entire festival brand. From posters to merchandise, each element tells a story of metamorphosis - inviting viewers into a world where graphic design becomes as performative as the theater itself.
